We invite you to join the more than 41,000 professional employees who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children.Job Summary: Review and analyze all requests for payments submitted by centers, vendors and corporate suppliers.  Verify information is correct and submit for further processing.  Respond to calls from and places calls to vendors, centers, and employees as necessary to complete assigned tasks.  Job Responsibilities:   Review all calls, requests and materials assigned to individual desks to determine appropriate handling Research and resolve kickouts from Accounts Payable Keyers and returned checks from vendors and the field Complete documentation for parent refunds, submitting to Vendor Masters for further processing as One Time Only Vendor Process employee expense reports Verify submitted vendor, cost center, and generated ledger (G/L) information compared to computer system to guarantee accurate processing. Verify payments are not duplicate in nature via computer and microfilm documents Monitor the Customer Service fax line and general Accounts Payable e-mail address Maintain call log relative to certain types of calls, e.g. vendors 1099 forms. Monitor outstanding documents/issues and submit appropriate fiscal period end accruals to Corporate AccountingEssential Functions:· Ability to multi-task and process high volume of vendor/center calls and invoices in a timely and accurate manner· Reasoning ability to determine proper assignment/handling/processing of documents· Ability to verbally communicate to work team, department staff, vendors, and center staff relative to work process· Computer aptitude required to research database to complete assigned work· Minimum processing requirements, calculated as a weekly average, for Regional Costumer Service Representatives:An equal percentage of the invoices received determined as the total number of invoices dived by the numberOf full time coders, processed at an average minimum rate of 25 invoices per hourErrors will not exceed 1.5% of the invoices processed. Non-essential Functions: Other related duties as assigned Adaptability Requirements:  Minimal - Position requires a minimal degree of adaptability. Incumbent will need to be flexible to adjust to changing needs of department.   Working Conditions:  Work is primarily performed in an office environment with extended periods of sitting, keyboarding Experience and Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Some Accounts Payable experience preferred.  Adaptability and flexibility required as job assignments may vary based upon department needs, incumbent’s skills, and job assignment allowances. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  · Working knowledge of general office practices· Knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures preferred· 10-key experience required· Ability to use a computer and learn new software research techniques· Oracle experience preferred· Must be adaptable to change and be able to handle volume-based work load· Good oral communication skills  We offer a comprehensive benefits package, childcare discount and more!
