PRIMARY

 RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide professional admission, academic and career advisement to prospective and current students while maintaining a solid functional base of all programs, policies, procedures, and practices in the comprehensive process of effectively recruiting, servicing and retaining a viable student body. Strong organizational abilities with great attention to detail and follow through, demonstrated ability to comprehend complex information and apply in accordance with policy, excellent oral and written communication abilities including interpersonal relations and skilled listening, logical and adept thinker, ability to interview effectively, problem solve and maintain professional demeanor, high sense of ethics, ability to take direction well and work as a team player.

 

 EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field including: human behavior, academic counseling, social work, marketing, management, business or communications preferred.

 

  QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer one year successful experience in recruiting, advising and servicing adults in an educational setting. Minimum of two years professional experience required in marketing, counseling, customer service or personal selling, including extensive telephone contact and interviewing.
