(Morning & evening opportunities available beginning in July!)Everest College – City of Industry, CAGeneral Duties: Maintain a teaching assignment for each class Plan course instruction based on approved syllabus/course outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met Distribute a copy of the class calendar to all students at first class meeting Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student enrollment Design, administer and grade examinations Actively work to retain a high level of enrollment in all classes taught by maintaining accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, recording absentee information in roster, and communicating attendance concerns to the Program Chair or DOE Must be available for AM and/or PM classesRequirements: Master's degree in Mathematics with strong knowledge in Algebra Must meet State and Federal requirements necessary to hold the position Excellent communication, motivational and organizational skills Teaching experience preferred, but not required, will train Enthusiasm to teach a diverse student populationWe offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits including a comprehensive healthcare program and 401(k) plan.
