NEWBRIDGE COLLEGE – ALLIED HEALTH INSTRUCTORS

 

Newbridge College, founded in 1976, is a recognized leader in the preparation of skilled and qualified personnel for the allied health professions.  Newbridge College offers a variety of programs designed to provide students with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills to meet job market expectation and become successful and productive health professionals.  Programs include Surgical Technology, Ultrasound, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Insurance Billing and Medical Office Management.

 

Campuses are located in Santa Ana, Long Beach, and Monterey Park, California.

 

We are seeking exceptional instructors with the proper academic preparation and qualified credentials, experience in teaching, and a minimum of three years employment in their field.  Instructors must model professionalism, have a heart for working with others, possess good communication skills and be flexible. Candidates must have access to original transcripts and be able to provide proof of credentials.

 

We are looking for qualified individuals for the following day and/or evening positions:

 

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Instructors will be responsible for presenting a broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, safety standards, aseptic and sterile techniques, general patient care, case management, pharmacology, anesthesia, operating room preparation, surgical instrumentation, surgical supplies, diagnostic procedures, and surgical techniques covering.  Qualified candidates must possess Surgical Technology Certification.

 

DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER (ULTRASOUND) INSTRUCTOR

We have an immediate opening for night school at the Monterey Park campus.

Instructors will be responsible for presenting a broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, sonographic physics and instrumentation, vascular technology, abdominal sonography, and obstetric and gynecological sonography.  Qualified candidates must possess ARDMS certification.

 

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTOR

Instructors for our MLT Associate program will be responsible for presenting medical terminology, phlebotomy and specimen collection, hematology and coagulation, serology and immunohematology, clinical chemistry, laboratory equipment and supplies, and safety standards.  Qualified candidates must possess CPT certification.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTING INSTRUCTOR

Instructors for our MA program will be responsible for presenting, medical terminology, administrative medical assisting, specimen collection and laboratory procedures, exam room procedures, pharmacology, administration of medications, laboratory equipment and supplies, and safety standards.  Qualified candidates must possess NCMA certification, CMA or RMA certification, and AHA CPR certification.
