Pearson VUE also owns and operates over 230 Pearson Professional Centers throughout the world, serving professional licensing and certification sponsors.Pearson VUE is looking to add an Application Data Administrator II to the staff in either the Chicago, IL or Bloomington, MN office.Application Data Administrator II Develops standardized queries and procedures that can be used by psychometricians and test developers across projects, and trains Pearson VUE staff in appropriate use of those procedures. Generates data and special reports and files as needed by Pearson VUE's test development team. Develops customized procedures as needed to support test development efforts on specific projects. Works with test development staff to ensure and maintain the quality, integrity, and security of project databases. Trains Pearson VUE staff in database use. - Bachelor's degree or higher in computer/database programming or in a field requiring the implementation of research projects and the collection and analysis of data- At least five years experience managing large-scale databases- Knowledge of and experience with the integration of databases with statistical packages- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Keen attention to detail- Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Office (esp. Excel and Access)- Ability to summarize complex technical information and communicate it to a variety of audiences- Behavior in accordance with core values
