Realityworks, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter who possesses proven abilities in application management and support.  This candidate must have the ability to work under tight deadlines in a face-paced, growing environment.

Realityworks is the creator of the RealCare® Baby infant simulator used around the world to teach proper infant care skills and prevent adolescent pregnancy. Other innovative programs include a pregnancy simulation, Shaken Baby Syndrome simulator, tobacco addiction simulation, related curricula, and activities to encourage financial literacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate should have knowledge in the following areas: Application support at desktop and server levels Assists in system setup, configuration documentation, end-user support, custom report specifications, and business process documentation. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements Demonstrated project management skills Some SQL administration on platform such as MS SQL 2000 Strong T-SQL on platform such as MS SQL Server 2000 Strong report generation using tools such as Crystal Reports, Excel, and similar Administer line-of-business applications such as MAS500, Saleslogix, and DCWarehouse Work with internal staff to improve processes and work flows Work with vendors to implement application changes Work with Network Administrator to plan upgrades, develop disaster recovery plans, and support users Research other products and methodologies to improve systems May play a key role in training employees on application, database, and operating systems.

 

EDUCATION:                                                                                                              

The ideal candidate will have a two year associates degree or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in information systems, computer science, or other related field; and four plus years of experience, preferably in an information systems environment. This candidate would also have a proficient understanding of software and hardware and possess strong communication skills, along with a strong sense of accountability, good judgment and attention to detail.
