Application Support Analyst

Primary Objective:  We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Support Analyst to assist customer(s) with resolving their center management application issues.  . This position will report into our Field Applications, Operations and Support team to fulfill our support obligations for our On Care childcare and education management software as well as various other applications used by centers.  Responsible for the resolution of reported support incidents for customers that have implemented our On Care products and solutions. Has the ability to clearly analyze a technical issue and provide a solution to customer to resolve the issue.  Primary Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities include the following:   Experienced application analyst delivering quality software and technical support services Assist customers with resolving issues that our reported into our Remedy support system. Map business process workflow Work with customers to understand a reported issue, develop a resolution approach, and articulate solution to customer to get buy-in and closure Escalate issues requiring prioritization for development Configure the On Care services for new and current customers Test software applications to insure stability and reliability of our solution Maintain document solution for potential re-use and maintenance Ability to migrate and upgrade existing software solutions Learn and support our On Care center management application and processesCo-ordination and management of support incidents that impact both KLC internal customers as well as external consumers of On Care SAAS.  Ideal Candidate Profile:   Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Passion for end-user focused software applications design and development with an appreciation for the software design process including strategy, development, rollout and adoption Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and convey ideas to cross-functional technical and non-technical teams Strong business acumen and ability to develop work around solutions Exceptional written and oral communication skills Ability to work well across departments and skill levels Outstanding organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to share knowledge with others in a clear and concise mannerStaff Skills and Knowledge:  Responsible for coordinating successful resolution of On Care and other center applications. Experience in business process analysis and requirements definition using standard business process modeling methodologies  Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or other software engineering implementation methodologies. Knowledge using .Net and MS SQL application software. Experience includes mapping workflows, writing browser and server scripts, developing and integrating with web services and developing custom controls. An understanding and experience in web technologies such as HTML, DHTML, VB Script/JavaScript, PHP. Experience with GUI design and development, windows services/DLLs/DCOM An understanding of and experience in operating systems such as; UNIX and Windows NT/2000/XP Use of Office software including MS Word, Excel, VISIO, MSProject, and PowerPointShow various functional skills such as  Analytical skills and problem solving abilities System design and solution architecture expertiseShow knowledge and understanding of other related areas such as  Financial applications Database design Accounting Principles Participate in continuing education courses for in-house personnel in areas of expertise when requested Client Satisfaction and Financial Objectives:  Ensuring overall client satisfaction by:  Supporting and resolving customer incidents and technical issues. Ongoing contact with customer to ensure satisfaction with support solution.Minimum Requirements – Knowledge and Skills:  Bachelor Degree in Computer Science required Relevant experience in financial applications, order management, on-line payments, enrollment process, data warehouses and accounting principles is preferred Development and Analysis skills with .Net, MS SQL, Java, C#, C++, HTML, XHTML, FlashDevelopment and Analysis skills with 4/GL and Informix a definite plus.
