NEEDED: A remarkable, responsible, redolent rock star Assistant Director of Tutoring
In this ENTRY level position as the Assistant Director of Tutoring, you will work with a bright, talented, and fun office staff and a dynamic, accomplished group of professionals and graduate students from top schools who make up our part-time instructor staff. In addition, you will work with an extremely ambitious and diverse client base. This is a challenging position with great responsibility, autonomy, and great potential for continued advancement.
Responsibilities:· Support tutoring department with operations including the following:
§ Staffing and supporting Tutoring Programs
§ Managing materials distribution
§ Handling cancellation/rescheduling of tutoring sessions
§ Overseeing database management
§ Entering & reconciling payroll· Provide excellent customer service and support for teachers, students and parents.· Support tutor recruiting & training. · Work with Tutoring Manger to grow tutoring business.· Create long & short- term departmental plans with Tutoring Manager and lead private tutoring operations in the execution of these plans.· Oversee all tutoring clients to ensure programs are managed to meet demand, expense budget, and quality goals.· Manage tutor quality & expansion.· Ensure tutor quality through professional development and mentoring sessions.

Requirements:
BS/BA Passion and enthusiasm for delivering results.Excellent communication, written and verbal, negotiation and relationship management skills are a must.Aptitude for solving problems and making decisions with minimal supervision.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends when required.Sales experience would be helpful but not required. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
