Job Description: 

BEACON Services is currently hiring Associate Behavior Educators.  If you are a bright and energetic person who has a Bachelor’s degree or two years of professional experience with children with disabilities, BEACON is looking for you!  BEACON provides a positive work environment with employee trainings, consultations and supervision that enables our staff to professionally grow and reach their highest potential while assisting children to reach theirs.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Associate Behavioral Educators (ABE) implement instructional programs designed for children diagnosed with Autism between the ages of 1 and 5 in the child’s home. Initially, Associate Behavior Educators participate in an intensive orientation and training program  that encompasses instructional procedures and behavioral management procedures for instructing young children with autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.  ABEs receive weekly supervision and support from a Lead Behavior Educator, and ongoing training from BEACON’s clinical staff.  ABEs are required to implement educational and behavioral programs and maintain and graph treatment data.
