Associate Director of Admissions

Purpose of the Job/Principal Responsibilities:

The Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for performance management of the assigned team along with being the coach, motivator, and mentor of the team. The goal of the ADOA is to instill a since of team responsibility, team leadership and ultimately improve the percentage-to-goal and the student start rate through quality customer service, effective performance, and support.


 

Typical activities for and Associate Director of Admissions include:


·  Mange the day-to-day Admissions Advisor production activities (dial, contacts, interview, apps, etc)

·  Provide application projections on a daily basis

·  Achieve quantitative performance standards, and meet or exceed assigned start goals

·  Increase conversions through one-to-one coaching, evaluating and mentoring

·  Monitor advisor process and procedure and provide feedback for improved performance

·  Lead distribution and reassignments

·  Implement and monitor student follow up procedures

·  Use metrics and performance data to analyze and improve team member production outcomes

·  Maintain communication with management staff and provide feedback to improve process

·  Know, maintain, adhere and comply with all appropriate policies, state and federal regulations and follow all Standard Operation procedures

·  Maintain knowledge of programs offered and take responsibility for keeping current with program changes and new programs offered

·  Provide team members with performance feedback

·  Perform various other duties as assigned by Management

Experience Required:

·  Proven success as an Admissions Team Leader

·  College degree strongly preferred

·  Positive support regarding managerial decisions

·  Product and procedural knowledge

·  Positive attitude and willingness to help others

·  Capable of accomplishing multiple tasks within specific periods of time

Position requirements/Scope of the job/Skill Required:

·  Must be able to work at least 2 evenings per week and one full weekend per month

·  Ability to answer complicated Admissions questions accurately and in detail

Ability to deliver outstanding customer service by telephone, email, and other media
