Au Pair School Administration Coordinator

Cultural Care Au Pair is the leading flexibly, affordable, live-in au pair program in the industry and has been in operation since 1989. Cultural Care is a US government-designated program allowing young people the opportunity to experience America for a year. Au Pairs live as family members and attend courses at a local college. In exchange, they offer their host families up to 45 hours per week of live-in childcare. Host families are able to bring a little of the world into their homes and au pairs have the chance to spend a year with an American family.This exciting position in Oakdale, NY would allow you to live on the St. Johns University campus at our Au Pair Training School. At the school, you will be working alongside the Director and Assistant Director on tasks such as welcoming au pairs to the school, pulling arrival and departure reports from our database, going on the New York City tour, being available to assist the teaching staff, and speaking with au pairs individually and in large groups. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm to work long hours- this is not a 9am 5pm job, an independent nature, outgoing and flexible attitude, problem solving skills, and patience to work with au pairs that have various language skills. To be successful you will also demonstrate proficient Microsoft Office skills and be comfortable communicating via email and phone with all our overseas offices, foreign language skills a plus.
