CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATION SPECIALIST

Medical Simulation Corporation is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our high-caliber clinical development team.  You will help develop and design cutting edge simulation and web-based courseware for training physicians and other medical staff.  Medical simulation is an emerging technology that is changing the way medical professionals around the world learn new skills.  We are a growing company based in the Denver Tech Center and are looking for sharp, dedicated, fun individuals to join our team.


Essential Duties include:Identify, develop, and implement educational/courseware curriculum that is an effective part of our core simulation-based offering. Direct and assist in the creation of educational courses for physicians, nurses, technicians, and manufacturer personnel. Manage physician and nurse/technician authors for simulation case development.  Develop and manage clinical requirement specifications.  Development of clinical scenarios for use on various simulation platforms. Work with our Sales and Marketing team to develop collateral, plan and support tradeshows, build and edit presentations. Collaborate with Director of Clinical Field Operations to determine appropriate clinical training in the field. Research current medical market for procedures, devices, and trends.


Required Education/Work experienceRequires a BSN degree and five to ten years of clinical working experience and/or clinical management experience. Previous educational training experience or industry experience helpful. Clinical experience in endovascular intervention is a plus, including direct customer/physician (Cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and/or radiologists) interaction. Requires the ability to interact and provide exceptional service to a variety of medical professionals and manufacturer personnel Requires ability computer skills including Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Requires personal flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to details and a high degree of accuracy. Position may require travel of 25%
