CLINICAL OFFICE MANAGER
Total Education Solutions (TES) is the leading national provider of outsourced special education compliance and staffing solutions to public education agencies. TES currently provides compliance and staffing solutions to over 200 public and charter school sites, representing 70 school districts and 35 Special Education Governing Entities.
We are currently looking for an Office Manager to work in a full time capacity at our Alhambra and Downtown Los Angeles clinics which provide services such as Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.
The office manager will provide administrative support to clinical program coordinators, therapists and support staff. S/he will be responsible for providing on-site, day-to-day practice management to ensure a uniquely satisfying client experience, a positive team environment, and a financially successful practice. This will include but is not limited to overseeing the business operations of multiple clinic sites, planning, organizing, implementing, and administering front office duties including billing, compliance, quality assurance, scheduling, supervision of additional clerical staff and all other duties necessary for assistance in starting and sustaining a clinical practice.
Requirements
Candidates applying for this position must possess the following skills to be considered for the position:
Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIREDBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred or AA Degree At least three (3) years of office management experience in a medical, clinical or educational setting. Ability to manage the daily operations of multiple sites and work with multiple team members Knowledge of regional center, school systems, HMO, PPO and Medicare billing procedures. Ability to read, understand and explain insurance carrier’s contracts Ability to read, understand, explain and dispute claims Understands and follows HIPAA laws and regulations Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate activities and establish priorities Proficient in Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Excellent computer typing skills and knowledge of bulk mailings
