Job Description:

CMPMedica’s CME (Continuing Medical Education) Group ( http://www.cmellc.com), has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative in our Jersey City, NJ office.  This person will respond to inbound customer calls and enters customer orders/information into our database.  The CSR will work on a small team and report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities:

· Answers calls and respond to customer requests

· Provides customers with product and service information

· Enter customer orders into our computer system

· Up sell products and services

· Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff (as needed)

· Identify, research, and resolve customer issues

· Follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved

· Complete call logs and reports

· Recognize, document, and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls

· Enter customer orders received by phone, mail, fax and email into our computer, (i.e. registrations, change of address, request for information, payment for product or services, meeting cancellations and other transactions to support company and educational events)

· Assist marketing with data entry and data processing tasks

· Generate customer correspondence as needed

· Recommend process improvements

· Open and distribute customer incoming mail

 

Qualifications:

· High School Degree or better required

· 1+ years of Customer Service experience, a huge plus if in the Medical Education field

· Professional be able to communicate with people clearly, effectively, and positively by: phone, email and regular mail

· Ability to research, find, and resolve problems

· Strong communication and writing skills

· Ability to learn customer service and database software applications

· Willingness to up sell products and services as appropriate

· Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

· Knowledge of MS Office, the Internet, and be able to type 45 wpm
