ECPI College of Technology is a leading private college offering degree, diploma, and certification programs in Technology, Business, and Health Sciences. Career Advisor’s prepare and assist students in career development and job search activities and manage an individual student caseload providing direction and support throughout the job search. Recruiting efforts with employers will be coordinated through active lead development and follow-up. Responsibilities:•Seeking field of study related employment opportunities in conjunction with developing and/or maintaining relationships with employers to facilitate placement of graduates. •Promoting field of study related opportunities to ECPI graduates wanting Career Services Department assistance. •Conducting routine weekly calls to companies advertising field of study related employment opportunities.•Conducting follow up calls to ECPI Employer Database.•Offering assistance to employers in the prescreening process and the coordination of interviews.•Coaching graduate candidates with interviewing skills and resume enhancement. •Advising and encouraging each graduate candidate on how to conduct a thorough individual career search by providing the necessary resources.•Conducting Career Planning Orientation (“CPO”) to students who are within 2 terms of graduation •Submitting qualified resumes to employers •Assisting in the coordination of Advisory Board Meetings. •Assisting in the coordination of Job Fairs and Career Development Workshops•Attending local Job Fairs and other technical networking events.•Participating in on campus events such as Awards Ceremonies, Graduate Ceremonies, School Organizations, Orientation Skills & Abilities•Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and have a sense of urgency.•Previous sales, placement or recruiting experience.•Experience with resume development and interviewing•Ability to quickly master computer applications•Enjoy helping others•Excellent oral & written communication skills•Excellent MS Office skills•Strong data entry skills•Detail oriented •Excellent customer service skillsEducation•Bachelor’s degree preferred.What does ECPI College of Technology have to offer?•Professional work environment •Talented and committed co-workers•Competitive compensation & benefits planECPI College of Technology is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerAbility to multi-task
