Due to recent growth, Javelin Technical Training Center, Atlanta’s premier educational institute is seeking an Externship Coordinator/Career Service Specialist for one of its Metro Atlanta campuses. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to assist students that have completed classroom training to gain “hands-on” experience that will lead to a successful career opportunity.

 

The Opportunity:Build and maintain contact with local employers to develop externship and placement opportunities.  Manage all student externship sites in the medical programs.  This includes tracking extern attendance and ensuring the externship assignment is completed as determined by the course outline. Facilitate student transition from the classroom to an externship opportunity that will enable the student to graduate and begin employment in the field of training.  Achieve the extern-to-placement conversion goals as prescribed. Partner with the education and placement departments to ensure satisfactory student outcomes.
