Corporate Account Executive

We are currently seeking a Corporate Account Executive to cover our Southeastern U.S. territory through our alliance with Duke University. While this position will be based in Boston, it will require 75% travel to the Southeast region.
If you have an aggressive sales record, are comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization and are able to sell across a variety of industries this is a position with great growth potential.
Responsibilities:Target corporate decision-makers with influence over the decision to outsource company training needs, both public and private on-site Utilize prospecting and networking lead generation activities to penetrate new accounts and build a book of new business from a non-existing installed base Build and leverage relationships from within an account and gain referrals Interact effectively with all levels of an organization, across business functions, and a variety of industries including: Technology, Financial/Insurance, Energy, Manufacturing, BioTech/Pharma Develop business and territory plans; provide monthly updates to reflect strategies to successfully achieve territory quota Prepare weekly and monthly reports to reflect current and projected revenue, as well as client activity
Experience and Skills Required:5+ years consultative sales experience targeting large fortune 1000 firms Proven success and overachievement of assigned sales metrics: cold calling and prospecting, demos/presentations, and revenue goals Success developing and managing a territory with few initial clients Demonstrable experience with developing, maintaining and growing large customer accounts Understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling Excellent ability to communicate and present at all levels within an organization Exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers Team player, positive attitude Efficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint College degree highly preferred
