Creative Web Designer/Developer

Job Purpose:

Design graphical website solutions, showcasing use of rich media content used in presenting educational content to primary and secondary educational institutions.

 

Duties:

* Creative expertise in layout design and use of graphical imagery

* Integrate website design with mysql database architecture and server scripting to support form based data collection, user session management, and website content management

* Design and develop multimedia applications by using authoring tools such as Adobe Flash.

* Complete website design and development including contributing to team meetings; determining technical direction, and designing for supportability and manageability.

 

* Desire to increase job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and ultimately to the Company

Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent Verbal Communication; Willing Team Participant; Experience with website design using HTML/DHTML, including use of CSS based layers, positioning and menus; Web Programming Skills using PHP and mysql; Desire to hone skills with leading edge technology use.

 

Knowlege of Adobe CS3 Suite, especially Dreamweaver. Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks. Artistic eye to blend multiple images together somewhat seamlessly.
