To develop, edit, and refine coaching/training materials that assist in the delivery of defined curriculum. Research topics; summarize and/or paraphrase reference material, author original content, adapt vendor content, write exercises, oversee work done by external suppliers, review and edit product content, and apply instructional design principles to be delivered.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop materials for new product launches while identifying, sharing and recommending best practice solutions.Participate in advisory committees providing and receiving input on how to enhance the content.Develop and maintain materials to ensure alignment with program definition.Update materials as necessary to ensure timeliness and relevance.Perform necessary integration for the purpose of validating learning and identifying learning needs.Participate on stakeholder review teams to evaluate curriculum designs, approaches and concepts.Develop and integrate learning programs through a variety of multimedia and other instruction delivery methods.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Skills & RequirementsBachelor's degree in English, Instructional Design, Journalism, Writing, or other educational fields or equivalent experience plus 4+ years of relevant work experience designing and developing instructional curricula. Advanced degree in a related field strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of fundamental instructional design methodology and approaches and adult learning theory.Strong ability to learn quickly and work on multiple writing/editing/projects in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.Experience designing and developing all forms of instruction: leader-led, self-paced (computer, web, and video-based), and formal/informal collaborative learning environments.Strong proficiency with MS office is a must. Must be familiar with file management within a Microsoft OS network environment. High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change.Expertise in documentation creation, management and effectiveness.
