Rockland Community College, a unit of the State University of New York, located 25 miles from New York City in the lower Hudson Valley, is seeking to fill the following positions:

 

 

DEAN of ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT

Exempt Administrative Position





The Dean of Enrollment Management will develop internal and external data analysis tools needed for the development and ongoing evaluation of the admissions/recruitment strategy.  The Dean must be analytical but also understand the marketing values of public relations and advertisement.  The Dean will work with College constituencies in developing a comprehensive enrollment plan and academic records management.  Among the duties and responsibilities of this position are oversight and direction of the Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Assessment and Placement offices. This individual reports to the Vice President of Student Development, serves as a senior member of the Vice President’s staff, and serves on the President’s Cabinet.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Master’s Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, or a related field; seven years experience in higher education Enrollment Management activities; solid organizational and strategic planning skills. Candidates for this position should have strong leadership skills; understand the essentials of being a team player; excellent analytical and communication skills; the ability to collaborate effectively with others and the ability to build and motivate an admissions team.  Demonstrated ability with enrollment information systems and web-based recruitment is essential. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral Degree; familiarity with student information systems and three years of demonstrated supervisory leadership.
