Database Administrator

- Installs, develops, and maintains database and application serversand software as well as databases. Performs other databaseadministration functions, including migration, back-ups, recovery,reorganization, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

- Designs and develops software to support database migration and other database processes.

- Provides consulting, troubleshooting, and production support for database activities.

- Develops, maintains, applies, and promotes documented standards and procedures for database administration endeavors.

- Researches applications of existing tool sets, and reviews and recommends new technology.
