Mount Mary College seeks a Dean of Enrollment to provide leadership in the areas of traditional and non-traditional recruitment and admission as well as financial aid. The Dean of Enrollment reports to the President, is a member of the senior leadership team, and is responsible for the supervision of key enrollment leaders as well as the development and management of a multi-year strategic recruiting plan. The plan must align with the goals of the student body profile and ensure the integration of traditional and non-traditional student recruitment.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate the work of the Associate and Assistant Directors of Admission, Admission Counselors, Director of Financial Aid and the Graduate & Accelerated Admission Counselor with overall responsibility for the functioning of these areas.
Provide leadership in the planning, management and coordination of all undergraduate enrollment.
Implement, monitor, evaluate and update enrollment goals and strategies for full-time and part-time traditional and non-traditional students, accelerated and post-baccalaureate students.
Monitor national and regional trends that could have an impact on the College’s enrollment. Develop recruitment strategies and new markets based on these trends.
Oversee the collection and organization of accurate data regarding all phases of the enrollment process; analyze this data and communicate your analysis to College leaders to aid in campus-wide planning and strategy development.
Develop and monitor the annual office budgets for Enrollment and Financial Aid, ensuring their alignment with the College’s budget and strategic plan.
In coordination with the Marketing/Public Relations Department, develop a Marketing/Advertising Plan designed to assist in the recruitment of first year, transfer, international and adult students.
Develop strategies to engage faculty and other College administration and staff in the student recruitment process.
Oversee financial aid administration for incoming students and all current students including:
Direct the planning and implementation of financial aid leveraging and strategies to increase enrollment.
Oversee the awarding of all scholarships including coordination with the Development office.
Encourage professional development of staff through regular staff meetings, annual performance reviews and other means.
Participate as an active member of committees related to Enrollment and Financial Aid. Initiate meetings of these groups and other committees as appropriate.
Perform such duties as the President assigns.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proven supervisory skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Skilled in verbal and written communication. The ability to fully utilize data to inform decisions and strategies essential; experience with Jenzabar administrative computing system preferable
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's required. Experience in all aspects of enrollment management of undergraduate students. Knowledge of financial aid leveraging and packaging. Experience in market segmentation, target marketing and data collection and analysis. A successful track record in first-year, transfer, and adult student recruitment. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and team-approach administration.
