Director, Franchise Development

As a successful Director, Franchise Development you will utilize your talent to contribute to the ongoing marketing and sales of corporate-owned Sylvan Learning Centers to franchisees. You will maximize annual/quarterly revenue growth through the granting of Sylvan Learning franchise agreements and other services. Further, you will manage prospective franchise buyers/licensees through the process of acquiring a license agreement for a Sylvan Learning Center or multiple centers, an Ace it! License or any other license currently being issued.

As a successful Director, Franchise Development, you will:

- Maximize annual, quarterly and monthly revenue by qualifying / processing / closing a forecasted number of existing center sales (units) in accordance with plan.
- Manage prospective buyers through the process of buying and/or researching an existing Sylvan Learning Center or multiple existing centers.
- Present to prospective buyers during Discovery Day process all aspects, components, rules and regulations relative to acquiring/operating a Sylvan Learning Center
- Prepare and present for approval, a complete work-up on every prospect prior to issuance of License Agreement.
- Provide senior management with complete prospect analysis, approval recommendations, pro-forma sales information, business plan, etc.
- Process all paperwork involved with awarding of Learning Center License Agreement.

We require:

- 3-5+ years of sales experience.
- Excellent knowledge of company’s mission and License Agreement.
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent strongly desired.
- Strong personal and presentation skills.
- Effective time management, communication, decision-making, interpersonal relations and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, demographics, business plans and pro-forma.
- Background understanding of legal issues relative to franchising required.
