This is a key leadership role in the development of professional services for Pearson Assessment and Information. This individual will develop processes and programs for the successful training on Pearson's online education products as well as professional development courses that will link our assessment results to instruction and student progress. He/she will recruit, hire and manage both FTE and per diem professional services consultants, as required by customer demand.'Leadership in the development and management of Pearson Assessment and Information professional services business 'Set expectations and manage communication professional services schedules.'Oversight and management of team resources as needed to deliver on contracted customer services. 'Coordination within Pearson Assessment and Information and other Pearson organizations and production regarding customer deliverables. 'Primary customer contact during professional services rollout phases of application deployment.'Budget management.'Development and publishing of project planning and status documentation.'Coordination of the Training calendar and resources.'Partner with the account team in their efforts to hone improved relations with the Pearson Assessment and Information customers.'A member of the Professional Assessment Services leadership team.Experience required: 'At least eight years experience in the cost effective delivery and management of high value professional services courses in the K12 marketplace.'Demonstrated success at managing multiple customer projects across many geographies'Demonstrated success at growing services revenue with both new and existing customers 'Proven experience in developing and managing positive communications and relationships both with the education customers as well as the sales organization.'Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering professional development courses online and on-site.'Demonstrated knowledge of technology and its use in the K12 marketplace.'Experience and understanding with a variety of accountability solutions.'Taught for at least five years in a K12 environment Experience preferred: Experienced in recruiting, hiring and managing remote services staff ' both FTE and contract.Experience as an administrator and/or Staff Development Director in a school district.Experience with a nonprofit or for profit educational services business a plus.Education required: B.A. or B.S. in education or related field. Education preferred: Masters or Ph.D. in Education or related field.Personality attributes/skills required: Strong sense of valuing the customer and delivery of customer satisfaction.An experienced critical thinker who enjoys solving problems.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.High energy individual who likes to build new things and has a strong sense of urgency.A team player who knows when to lead and when to join the team.
