Director of Corporate and Professional Training

Position:Director of Corporate and Professional Training Position Available:ImmediatelyGeneral Statement of Duties: The Director over-sees all aspects of corporate and organizational contract training. Duties will include marketing plan development, lead development, workplace assessment, training program design, contract negotiation, trainer hiring, plus training program over-sight and evaluation. Other responsibilities include supervision of office staff, contract tracking and invoicing, customer service for clients, ordering training materials, maintaining accurate records, and over-sight of the computer training lab. The Director stays current with workforce trends through research, interaction with business-related meetings. As an outcome of this knowledge, new training programs and curricula are created and provided to area businesses. Workforce grants are developed and businesses assisted with training grant applications.Minimum Qualifications:An MBA or equivalent Master's Degree, as well as three to five years experience in a business/training environment are required. Experience working in a college environment is desirable. The Director must demonstrate strong leadership ability, the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships, and must be dedicated to working as an active member of the college's dynamic and creative Workforce Development and Community Education team. Outstanding professional communication, presentation, and computer skills are required, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.
