Hood College invites applications for a full-time Director of Educational Leadership program position.  The Director will provide ongoing strategic leadership, program development, implementation, modification, and coordination of the Master of Science program in Educational Leadership. The Director will monitor and coordinate the assessment system that collects, analyzes and archives relevant data on applicant qualification, candidate and graduate performance, and Hood College Education Departmental operations for SPA and NCATE reports.  The Director will interpret the data to be used in assessing and improving the Educational Leadership Program.  An earned doctorate in Educational Administration or related field, and prior experience in the administration of public school programs are required.  Preference will be given to candidates with extensive high level administrative and leadership experience in a public school system including central office and site-based experiences, who have had college teaching experience and who have internship supervision experience.  Candidate should possess a current certification in administration and supervision.
