Director of Leadership Development Job Description The colleges, schools and universities that are part of the Career Education Corporation (CEC) family offer high quality education to approximately 100,000 students across the world in a variety of career-oriented disciplines. The 80-plus campuses that serve these students are located throughout the U. S., Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates and offer doctoral, master's, bachelors, and associate degrees and diploma and certificate programs. We currently have the following marketing opportunity available: DIRECTOR OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES •Performance management, individual development plans and other talent management processes such as succession planning to be established, maintained and sustained •Training in the form of internally facilitated classroom workshops for segments of Career Education Corporation employees (e.g. high-potentials, key functional roles) •Curriculum development and management for all CEC employees •Employee engagement and culture change initiatives (e.g. employee engagement surveys, etc.) •Front-end needs analysis of client needs and full solution recommendations for skill gaps •Along with Recruiting, develop and maintain a world-class orientation and onboarding program •Development of process for evaluating skills, performance and potential of CEC employees •Establish partnership and alliance with outside consultants, vendors and other contacts as needed •Create valuable partnerships with all CEC employee groups to successfully accomplish company goals •Oversee the management of the LMS and maintenance of all e-learning resources Requirements •An undergraduate degree is required and in all likelihood the successful candidate will possess a graduate degree as well. •Proven application of organizational development practices to solve complex problems through teamwork and personal accountability •Extensive experience in talent management, assessment and coaching •Strong internal consulting skills •Strong project management skills •Good organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail; quick study aptitude. Proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. •Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, strong verbal and written communication skills. •High energy level with keen interest in working with all functional areas of the business in order to drive programs.
