COMPANY INFORMATION:
In operation since 1964, Career Systems Development Corporation continues to focus on helping at-risk youth. The contracted operation of Job Corps Centers is the largest segment of the company's business.
CSD has played a major role in the Job Corps program since it was initiated in 1964. Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, the Job Corps program helps disadvantaged youth by providing educational and vocational training in a residential setting, then placing graduates in jobs that use their new skills. The company also provides quality vocational assessment and placement services for unemployed youth and adults.

HOURS:
On Call Driver needed for hours between Monday - Sunday 3pm - 12am.

COMPENSATION:

$10.00 - $14.00 / hour

JOB SUMMARY:
The Driver is responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the year.

1. Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and operating principles.
2. Transport students by bus and automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts and etc.
3. Transports equipment and/or commodities to the center.
4. Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of the vehicles.
5. Maintains accurate and complete trip reports of each use of any vehicle.
9. Adheres to all PRH, PAG, CDSS and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center’s Operating Procedures.
10. Attends all training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled. Is CPR and First Aid Certifiable.
11. Maintains a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no loss-time accidents.
12. Ensures a work environment that provides an equal opportunity for all.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum - Must be able to read and write English at a high school level Must have a valid State Driver’s License & valid Commercial Driver’s License.

Preferred - Possess a High School Diploma. Six months of general transportation experience.

General Requirements - In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must be able to read/write at a high school level. Knowledge of methods needed to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
