Performs moderately complex human resources duties in areas such as affirmative action/EEO processing and reporting, policies and procedures and employee relations. Administers equal employment opportunity program. Compiles statistics on applicant flow, hiring, terminations, promotions, salaries, training, transfers, and other EEO-related data to monitor effectiveness of EEO/AA programs. Prepares reports on EEO statistics for mangement. Involved in the investigation of policy violations and in the grievance resolution process. Educates and trains mangement on EEO/AA policies and procedures. Support the creation, development and implementation of an enterprise-wide diversity program. Operates under moderate supervision with latitute for independent judgment.

Serves as a consultant to the business units to support the monitoring of day-to-day company activities to ensure compliance with all legal regulations. Ensuring EEO/AAPs alignment with business unit objectives. (30%)Conducts various special studies/reports related to hiring and EEO/affirmative action. Includes compiling statistics on applicant flow, hiring, terminations, promotions, salaries, training, transfers and other EEO related data to monitor effectiveness of EEO/AA programs. Prepares reports for management. (25%)Serves as a contact for employees. Communicates and answers questions regarding policies and procedures - i.e., Professor HR, communicating corporate policies. Actively involved in the creation, development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide policies. (15%)Participates in the investigation of policy violations. (10%)Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of a Follett diversity program. (10%)Implementing and maintaining a software application specifically used to create documents published and read online, (10%)
Bachelor's Degree - Business, Liberal Arts, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Development preferred.6 to 10 years experience, with 4 to 5 years in HR Generalist functions with experience in Affirmative Action.Good knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles, and applicable laws and regulations. Good knowledge of civil rights issues and practices applicable to the work place as well as affirmative action regulations. Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, be influential and persuasive, able to handle high level of confidentiality and common sense regarding employee information. Good planning, time management, and decision-making skills.Strong experience with MS Office and PowerPoint. RESPOND HERE!
