Education Services Manager

Under the supervision of the Deputy of Child Care, the Manager of Education Services supervises and supports supervisory and direct service staff for all early childhood programs within a multi-program, multi-site organization.  The Education Services Manager serves as the liaison between program administration and education staff.  Responsible for development of the department’s staffing pattern, ongoing personnel management and professional development and education.  Responsible for the development and implementation of various curricula.  Responsible for ongoing monitoring of all program functions and the development of appropriate program policies, procedures and comprehensive plans.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent computer skills.  Must be able to work well within a multidisciplinary, team-based environment and work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.  Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, classroom teaching experience and a minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience required.  Full-time (35 hrs/week), 12-month position.  Deadline is 3/27/08.
