SUPER CAREER OPPORTUNITY: K-12 EDUCATIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, GEORGIA

 

WANTED: Experienced K-12 Educational Sales Representative or K-12 Teacher with Outside Sales Experience to promote and sell high quality educational curriculum products to schools and school districts throughout the state of Georgia

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:Constant development of all company products and services knowledgeDevelopment of a business plan to call on schools and districts to maximize sales opportunities by understanding buying cycles, funding, adoptions, and special programs to generate optimum sales opportunities within the territory Compiling and maintaining of customer database based on information from existing customers and customer leads, state directories, exhibits and workshops, Internet Web sites, and other publishing industry sourcesTravel through assigned territory calling on and following up accordingly with regular and prospective customers based on the outlined business planPresentations of products to individuals and groups, tailoring to each situation and emphasizing salable features based on customer needsPreparation of quotes and proposals when necessary and follow up accordinglyPreparation and submittal of required reports as outlined by managerRegular communication with manager and assigned internal sales support representativesAttending local exhibits and workshops

 QUALIFICATIONS include:Minimum of a Bachelor’s degreeResidence anywhere within the state of GeorgiaSuccessful experience selling curriculum products to K-12 schools and school systems OR solid K-12 teaching experience plus outside B2B sales experienceStellar written and oral communication skillsExperience presenting products to small and large groups of peopleStrong understanding of and knowledge about the K-12 marketplaceAbility and willingness to do some overnight travel (about 25%)Current driver’s license 

 A competitive compensation package will be offered that includes a commensurate base salary, monthly commissions, company vehicle, paid travel expenses and home office equipment.
