We have an immediate need for a key person to fill the position of  Educators in the following locations: San Francisco, Maryland, St. Louis, Grand Rapids, Cleveland and Columbus.


This position will handle the educational needs for our accounts in assigned region. The Educator’s responsibility is to support the sales of products to salons, and the sale of the products to the consumer by creating and implementing educational programs that position Murad as the leading education resource in the skin-care industry.



Primary Responisbilities include:


To identify the needs and develop the education plan for the Region with the Account Executives, Sales Director and Education Manager.



This individual will conduct educational seminars, hand-on demonstrations, and support trade shows and promotions as requested by the Murad Education Department.



May help in the creation of education materials, CD, video, or Internet Educational programs, as assigned by the Education Department.



Extensive travel to support the Region, does require overnights, averaging 2-3 nights per week, or as territory warrants.



Other duties as assigned by Education Manager and Sales Director.





Skills and Experience:

Must have prior outside education or sales experience in the salon /skincare or spa industry is preferred.



Must possess excellent communication skills both written, verbal and presentation.



Must be well organized and an excellent multi-tasker.Must be detail oriented.



Must be a Team Player.





Education:

Qualified candidates MUST have current Esthetic or Cosmetology license and extensive skincare knowledge. (We will not be able to consider you unless you are licensed).



Must have three or more years training experience.



Must have computer knowledge including: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.



Extensive travel is required via car, air, etc. minimum of 60% of the time.





COSMETICS OR SKIN CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
