Enterprise System Analyst

Enterprise System Analyst UIS, Georgetown UniversityGeorgetown University is looking for an experienced systems analyst to establish the university’s enterprise data architecture. This position is part of the University’s central IT organization, University Information Services (UIS). The Enterprise Systems Analyst will work with teams across UIS to collect and analyze information about the university’s enterprise business systems, including Human Resources, Financials, and Student systems. This position will provide advanced analysis of business domains, processes, entities, services, data models, and integration points and document the enterprise data architecture. The Enterprise Systems Analyst will be part of a team involved in data administration, data governance, enterprise reporting and analytics, and enterprise application development. This position will provide expertise in business process analysis and modeling, methodologies, and architectures such as SOA. The Enterprise Systems Analyst will report to the Web and Data Architect in Enterprise Engineering and Technology Services.

Requirements:Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field. Practical Experience in Years: 3-5 years of experience in relevant enterprise environments, preferably in a higher education environment.Technical Qualifications:Current experience with at least one enterprise system (such as human resources, financials, student, etc.). Current experience with enterprise integration methodologies such as SOA. Current experience with business process redesign and functional requirements. Demonstrated ability to design and maintain enterprise documentation.Other Skills:Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across line, functional and geographic reporting lines. Flexibility in dealing with changes, adapting to a changing environment, and learning new skills.
