Family Worker / Family Counseling (Bachelors level)

Position Summary

The newly established Family Stability program in Clermont County is hiring for the position of Family Worker.  The Family Worker is responsible for working with families and appropriate others in the community to assure that the needs of a designated caseload of children and adolescents are adequately addressed.  In each case the Family Worker will assure that the services delivered both to the target child and to the family are individualized, appropriate to need, child centered, family focused, culturally competent, strengths based, and goal driven.  Family Worker will assure that the family has an appropriate crisis and treatment service plan and that the plans guide service delivery.  Family Worker’s possess excellent verbal and written skills, problem solving skills, and maintain a flexible schedule.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in human service or a related field and minimum of two years experience working with children and families.  Must have a driver’s license and reliable vehicle.  Must be willing to work non-traditional hours with travel throughout the program service area and provide on-call crisis intervention.
