Financial Aid Representative - San Leandro Campus

WCC offers a variety of quality health care programs, including Registered Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, Ultrasound Technology, and Veterinary Technology Pharmacy Technology, Massage Therapy, Medical and Dental Assisting as well as programs in Criminal Justice and Graphic Design. Some programs offer a certificate of achievement, and all programs lead to an Associate in Science Degree.  WCC enrolled its first students in 1967 and has regional accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

 Financial Aid Officer

 

• Advise prospective students of all tuition funding sources available.
• Assist students with questions regarding the completion of the Financial Aid applications.
• Conduct entrance interviews, and exit interviews as required by Title IV and company regulations.
• Accurately and timely prepare forms.
• Assist a student with promissory notes and ensure that promissory notes are properly completed and signed, with required documentation.
• Maintain any required employment certifications with applicable state agencies.

 

Requirements
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations with specific knowledge of FFEL Loan Programs, PELL Grants, and Title IV.
• Minimum of one year experience administering FFEL and PELL in a college setting.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Experience with Perkins FA programs a plus.
• Computer literacy.
