Position Summary:

Instructor needed to facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies and proactively support all facets of the learning environment. Ideal candidate will provide career education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace, encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility, life-long learning, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

Competencies include: Digital imaging, interactive design, web technologies, collateral design, motion graphics, kinetic typography and the following

Digital Video Production technologies.

Experienced in live studio production and field/studio operations.

 

Proficient in the use of a Hi-Def multi-camera workflow, including soundboard, teleprompter, programmable lighting controllers and real-time compositing.

 

Demonstrated experience in AfterEffects and FinalCut Studio, including SAN/Fibre pipeline.

 

Experienced in sound studio operations, using ProTools and multi-track mixing.

 

Additional skills in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and pre-viz desired.

Position Requirements:

  1. Master’s Degree in related field

  2. One or more years of teaching experience

  3. Five years of relevant industry experience

  4. Strong interpersonal skills

  5. Genuine interest in helping students

  6. Ability to act effectively as the member of a team
