Full Time Lecturer, Department of Biology

Full Time Lecturer, Department of Biology, beginning September 1, 2008.  One year appointment potentially subject to renewal by mutual agreement and funding availability. A Ph.D. degree in Biology (or related field) from an accredited university and teaching experience are required.  The successful candidate will teach introductory laboratories for biology and nursing majors, general education biology courses for non-majors, content courses for Master of Arts in Teaching Biology students, and will be involved in student advisement.  The teaching load will be 4 courses (12 contact hours) per semester.  Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching.
