GROUP ADVISOR, ENTRY LEVEL OPPORTUNITY

Tampa Bay Academy, a Florida JCAHO accredited psychiatric treatment facility providing services to children and adolescents, is seeking individuals to be

Group Advisor’s.

 

The Group Advisor implements clinically necessary and appropriate therapeutic services for assigned patients; monitors patients to ensure effective supervision and care; completes required medical records documentation; maintains a well organized staff station and filing system for each assigned area; and performs assigned auditing functions

The following minimum qualifications must be met to be considered an applicant:

 

1.  21 years of age or older

2.  High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma..

3.  Meets all Department of Children and Families requirements for employment in a child-care facility.

4.  Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, reach and fully participate with a team to safely restrain or seclude patients as necessary.

5.  Ability to communicate as needed as determined in part by the assigned patient population.
