Grant Manager
Grant Manager needed for 2 month contract position!
Facilitate grant preparation and final review, and play a proactive role in facilitating the grant preparation and submission processes. Coordinate the preparation and production of all proposals, including project management of the proposal team, assuring that proposals contain all required information and data and comply with funding agency and policiesDevelop and adapt templates for narrative elements, budgets, and budget justifications that meet the requirements of funding agencies and are user friendly for program and country staff Assure that proposals receive appropriate input from internal stakeholders Coordinate the preparation of technical reportsNotify financial management staff of due dates for financial reports. Assist with any necessary liaison between departmental financial and technical staffLiaise with staff and funding agencies as requiredManage review of budgets prepared by programmatic staff: coordinate with the Finance Unit and Project Officers to ensure timely development and review of budgets, edit budgets and application forms as necessary, manage the development of summary budgets, and ensure that appropriate information is uploaded and entered into systemAssist in editing technical proposalsCoordinate all correspondence related to proposal preparation, review, and follow-upCoordinate with any subcontractors that may be participating in proposals and review their proposed budgets.Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:Bachelor's degree and five years experience required. Master's degree preferred. NIH grants management and proposal development experience preferred. Knowledge of US Government and non-government rules and regulations strongly preferred. Strong mathematical, organizational and communication skills required. Knowledge of business practices and contract languageExcellent budgeting and written and oral communications skills required.
