Human Resources Analyst

The Human Resources Analyst performs a broad range of administrative and analytical duties to assist Human Resources and their customers in support of the College’s mission. This is an exempt level position reporting to the Director of Human Resources. The analyst will analyze compensation and benefit expenses and assist in preparation of the annual operating budget and annual compensation increase process; prepare external surveys/reports on staffing, coordinate web site maintenance and provide technical support including problem diagnosis, analysis and resolution for a variety of network, hardware, software and systems operation issues as well as to define user needs; coordinate the Charitable Giving Campaign; coordinate summer employment for Colby students; and assist with inquiries, consulting support, and the development of programs for staff. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or an equivalent of education and experience; general knowledge of human resources desired, including three to five years experience with employee relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, staffing, finance or technology; computer proficiency required with expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office products, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Electronic mail, Web, FilemakerPro, CommonSpot and Access experience desired, HRIS, ATS and PeopleSoft knowledge is considered a plus; general computer technology troubleshooting experience; excellent customer relations and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently; demonstrated experience working with confidential information and handling multiple projects.
