Human Resources Assistant (8243)

The Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support and process employment documents for all employment related transactions such as new hires, unemployment, employee promotions and yearly increases. In addition, this position frequently interacts with employees to answer and resolve employee relations issues and consults with a Human Resource Partner for appropriate action. This is a great entry level position for a candidate who is interested in expanding their knowledge and experience within the Human Resources field. Key Responsibilities Processes and imputes employee information for 21+ college and/or Headquarter locations. Ensures personnel transactions are in compliance with company policies and procedures. Work simultaneously with campus administration and the HR department to discuss employee and/or payroll issues or concerns. Processes unemployment claims and responds to employee verifications. Required Skills: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education preferred. Data Entry experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office, ADP or Oracle is desirable. Previous experience managing confidential information is a plus. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of organizational skills is required.
