Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.

2.  Responsible for performance appraisal process.

3.  Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and approving invoices for payment.

4.  Responsible for all recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel and helps to coordinate the use of temporary employees.

5.  Post open positions on job board, screen potential employees, coordinate complete interview process and offer position to chosen candidate.

6.  Partner with Hiring Managers to determine Job Descriptions and grasp knowledge of what the department needs

7.  Prepare Management Training with CEO for all Executive Staff Members

8.  Responsible for granting new Stock Options to all New Hires and getting approved by Board of Directors

9.  Ability to communicate with Executive C level employees.

10.  Attend various Job Fairs when needed

11.  Conducts new employee orientations; conducts reference checks.

12.  Files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures.

13.  Manages organizational training and development efforts.

14.  Compiles reports from database as needed.

15.  Maintains company organization chart.

16.  Issues all Employee performance improvement documents

17.  Responsible for conducting terminations and filing following documentation

18.  Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources. Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

1.  A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, OR

2.  Three to Four years experience in the HR field, OR

3.  Any similar combination of education and experience.
