We are a small and growing company, located in the Metro Boston area that is focused on improving the management of our nation’s public school districts.  We currently count among our clients over 60 school districts in over twenty states, and they are represented by many of the country’s most forward thinking Superintendents and Executives.
For our client members, we offer a comprehensive and complementary set of services to put best practices into motion, and learn from the experiences of others. These services include:Meetings and conferences to present research and share promising ideas Advisory services to the district executives Print & electronic materials to support in-district efforts

The Inside Sales Representative will be a new position for our company, and we expect the new employee to contribute significantly to increasing our membership and improving client services.





GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is critical as we focus on the continued growth of our organization. We are looking for a talented, energetic and dedicated professional who is eager to contribute to our mission of improving the performance of public school systems nationwide.



The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and networking activities. Customer interaction will comprise the majority of the workday in the form of telephone, E-mail and fax communications in an effort to sell and market membership in our organization and support our regional partners.





DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Contact large numbers of target clients to gauge preliminary interest and set follow-up appointments for senior sales colleagues. Respond, in a timely fashion, to client requests for additional information via mail and email. Track and manage current and potential customers through the use of management software and systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Excel. Complete reports on sales activity, sales forecasts and other quantifiable sales objective measurements. Communicate daily with co-workers on progress in order to support the overall team sales effort. Provide account management support, as needed, to key customers and regional partners. Participate in regular membership activities (3-5 conferences per year). Other duties, as assigned.

An interest in contributing to the improvement of public education nationwide



Formal Training or Education: Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of public education

COMPENSATION:

Base salary, commensurate with experience, plus bonus commission
