Title:  Implementation Consultant

 

Reports to:  Service Director   Department: Services & Support

 

Location:  Will be servicing accounts in CA, Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV

 

Status:  Regular Full-Time  

 

This is a regular full-time position reporting to the Service Director.

 

SUMMARY

The Implementation Consultant is dedicated to the coordination of all aspects of the implementation of Scientific Learning products as defined by the training or consulting requirements of the customer.

 

The Implementation Consultant collaborates with the customer account and department managers to successfully implement the Fast ForWord family of products and the Reading Assistant through training and consulting activities. The Implementation Consultant is responsible to monitor and guide all project tasks of the Fast ForWord and/or Reading Assistant implementation that support and reinforce product utilization and completion rates.

 

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Deliver specialized product training and consulting needed for a successful implementation of Scientific Learning Corporation products

· Be capable of the delivery of multiple models of training, e.g., on-site, regional, WebEx.

· Provide on-going consulting to support a client's needs

· Builds a high quality, cost effective training and consulting solutions, both generic and those tailored to the client's needs

· Proactively identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

· Reports results and proactively escalates major business issues

· Evaluates processes to improve future decisions

· Develops creative yet workable solutions to difficult, complex problems

· Work with the school district and resources within the company to create training and consulting plans

· Conduct implementation planning meetings as required

· Support the district in making decisions about issues including scheduling, environment, and motivational techniques.

· Facilitate training; assist schools with enrollment and be onsite for initial start-up if appropriate; follow-up visits and phone calls to districts during implementation.

· Develops and maintain relationships with districts/schools to ensure successful implementations and repurchase.

· Provides training and consulting services to many levels of school/district personnel [Administration, Instructional, Non-Instructional, Students and Parents]

· Assist the technical team in determining the technical readiness of the school/district.

· Provide Training and Technical groups district profile information for training and implementation.

· Provide Service Manager & Director with updated information on account activities on an ongoing basis.

· Collaborates with Sales Account Managers on account expansion and seeding activities

· Track and analyze student data.

· Act as primary consultant in key accounts, or as assigned.

· Keeps current on product knowledge and research findings.

· Communicates customer activity through Installation Coordinator and required paperwork.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree Required

· 3 –5 years experience in customer service and/or sales support preferred

· Proven experience in project management preferably in the K-12 educational environment.

· Teaching and or presentation experience a plus

· Ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical information

· Strong computer skills a plus

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, both customer-related and company-focused.

· Maintains current knowledge of educational trends and issues, including state standards, state-mandated assessments, and NCLB a plus

· Knowledge of Scientific Learning products and services a plus

· Customer relationship management skills

· Scheduling and process planning skills

· Coaching skills; adept at influencing and persuading others and overcoming resistance

· Travels safely and comfortably in large urban school/districts as well as remote rural school/districts.  Travel is 70-80%.
