Director of Human Resources

 

Schreiner University, located in the Texas Hill Country, is looking for a dynamic individual who can design and deliver Human Resources programs, practices, and processes to meet the needs of the University and its employees.  The right candidate will be a self-motivated, resourceful individual with the ability to design, implement, and oversee all phases of human resources activities including recruiting, selection, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, training, legal compliance, HRIS and payroll.  This position offers the ability to be creative, provide leadership and growth, and work with a diverse group of thinkers.

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

 

·  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources.  Master’s degree preferred.

·  7-10 years of experience in Human Resources with extensive working knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, systems and compensation and benefits programs.

·  3 years experience dealing with complex employee relation situations.

·  PHR required.  SPHR preferred or with plans to attain within 2 years of employment.

·  Supervisory experience.

 

Annual salary range of $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
