Instructor - Nursing

Everest University a Division of Corinthian Colleges, has immediate openings for highly motivated, results-oriented Nursing Instructors for our Florida Metropolitan University Brandon, Florida Campus. Requisition #07-0280 We are looking for experienced Nursing Instructors to teach day and/or evening classes. Part Time Positions available. Responsibilities include: Maintain a clinical teaching assignment for each class Plan clinical instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met Distribute a copy of the class calendar to all students at first class meeting Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students Assist in the design, administration and grading of examinations Maintain a high level of student retention by keeping accurate daily attendance records, calling all absent students, recording absentee information in roster, and communicating attendance concerns to the Program Chair or DOE Be available to advise students, tutor and provide other assistance as needed Requirements: Must have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Must have 3 years full time clinical practice as an Registered Nurse Teaching experience as a nurse instructor a plus Must be flexible with schedule and be people oriented Excellent customer service, organizational and motivational skills also essential We offer competitive compensation.
