A leading institution for applied & creative arts education seeks Adjunct instructors with the ability to relate to young professionals. 

 

We have an immediate need for instructors to teach Summer Quarter 2008 in the following area:

 

 

Interior Design. Teaching studio & lecture classes on residential, commercial & foundation design, technical drawing, CADD, materials & specifications, design/furniture/architectural history, lighting, building codes & presentation techniques.

 

Specific Courses include:

 

Intro to AutoCAD Digital Design

AutoCAD 2D Digital Presentation

AutoCAD 3D

Computer Rendering

 

NCIDQ certification or equivalent required.  CADD proficiency & ability to sketch preferred.

 

To be considered for any instructor position, the following qualifications are required: A Master's degree is required to teach in the bachelor’s programs with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the specified field of study, teaching or presentation background, 3-5 years of work experience in your industry & the desire to coach and mentor young professionals.
