Interactive Design Instructors Job Description Interactive Design InstructorsThe International Academy of Design and Technology located in the heart of Chicago - Loop is seeking candidates for part-time faculty positions in interactive design who can inspire students with real-world skills. Candidates must have a Master's Degree such as MFA, MBA or PhD Communications, or its equivalent in interactive design or a related field, and college-level teaching experience. Expertise in Flash Action Scripting and/or the use of advanced Cascading Style Sheets and "web 2.0" technology is required. Ideal candidates will be primarily graphic or interactive designers with professional qualifications and thorough computer knowledge. The department seeks educators who will encourage conceptual and aesthetic innovation while promoting a practical understanding of today's design industry and job market. Candidates should be flexible design educators who are able to teach a variety of subjects and levels in a dynamic and pro-active graphic design program.
