Internal Auditor

Corporate office in St. Louis has an excellent opportunity for an Internal Auditor.  This position is responsible for performing internal audit assignments throughout the company.  The Internal Auditor assists in preparing audit guidelines.  In addition, this position is responsible for appropriate utilization of audit resources and completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.  Specific responsibilities include:

 

1.  Executes audits within the parameters of a defined project plan. 

 

2.  Performs operational and financial auditing.

 

3.  Maintains internal audit independence and objectivity in all assignments.

 

4.  Executes internal audit procedures for achieving audit objectives and goals.

 

5.  Prepares audit reports.

 

6.  Assists with the audit plan development.

 

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related area and at least one year of public accounting or internal audit experience.  The position requires personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).  Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful and concise manner, is essential.
