Internship Administrator

Saint Anselm College is seeking to fill a full time, twelve-month position of Internship Administrator, reporting directly to the Dean of the College. This person will coordinate and direct student internship opportunities; advise students, faculty and employers regarding College policies, procedures and options; and design and implement education and outreach programs related to academic internships. This person will work with all academic departments, and will also serve specifically as the internship coordinator for the Economics and Business department, which will include assessment and grading of student work.

 

Master’s degree in business, counseling or a discipline of higher education required, doctorate preferred; plus one to three years of relevant administrative experience in higher education, or minimum of five years professional business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must display knowledge of internship protocols and possess strong counseling, marketing, collaboration, presentation and assessment skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential with ability to deal effectively externally and with college students, faculty and administrators of all backgrounds. Also requires planning, organization, supervisory and budget management skills. The successful candidate will be able to assist the College to further its strategic goals for institution-wide diversity.
